With the mission to become a premium platform that provides a holistic overview of India’s exciting digital revolution, BQrius Brand & Networks Pvt Ltd have announced the launch of India’s Digital Entertainment and Technology Expo, IDEATE. The first edition will be held in NSIC Grounds, Okhla, New Delhi, from the 31st of October to 3rd of November, 2019. IDEATE will be a one of a kind, large format interactive exhibition in India and will provide a gateway to an exciting realm of digital technology for the country’s thriving new age tech-savvy population. India is witnessing unprecedented advancements that have accelerated the growth of digital technologies in the country. Today India has approximately 1.1 Billion telecom subscribers, over 500 Million internet subscribers and approximately 250 Million active users on social media. This has also led to accelerated consumption of other digital entertainment technologies such as AR/VR, gaming, OTT etc. By 2020, Indian industries like AR is projected to be valued at $150 billion, while gaming and OTTs are projected to have an audience of 628 million and 100 million respectively. With India becoming a major digital hub, IDEATE seeks to be a catalyst and consolidater of both international and Indian digital entertainment and technology industries.
