iCulture is ontstaan uit de samenvoeging van de websites iPhoneclub.nl en iPadclub.nl. De website is in december 2006 opgericht door Jean-Paul Horn en Gonny van der Zwaag, uit enthousiasme voor de iPhone. Op dat moment was Apple’s smartphone nog niet officieel aangekondigd. We waren de eerste Nederlandse website die uitlegde hoe je iPhones uit de VS kon importeren en in gebruik nemen. We groeiden daardoor snel, zeker vanaf het moment dat de iPhone officieel in Nederland verkrijgbaar was. We zijn inmiddels een goedlopende website met meerdere fulltime medewerkers en een aantal freelancers. Naast het schrijven van dagelijks nieuws en appbesprekingen besteden we op iCulture veel aandacht aan tips en uitleg om meer uit je iPhone, iPad of of ander iDevice te halen.
