Iconic-Centre Information

ICONIC centre (Centre for Intelligent Communications, Networking and Information Processing) is part of the Department of Power, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. ICONIC is organized into three research groups: Communication Systems, Information Processing Systems and System Design, with close to 40 young and ambitious research staff members. The research context of ICONIC centre is based on upcoming 5G mobile cellular technology supported by emerging Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) concepts. Research focus is on massive-scale data acquisition via IoT and large-scale information processing via MEC and cloud systems. ICONIC innovation potential rests on open and reconfigurable hardware/software for fast prototyping of advanced communications and information processing solutions. ICONIC researchers are committed to publishing in highest-quality journals and conferences.
