ICON Technologies is the oldest locally owned Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Northeastern PA. Since 1994 ICON has been providing local residents, businesses, and organizations with a variety of Internet access options. Over the years we have designed and built our own private broadband microwave network in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties. This network allows us to have more control and flexibility with our broadband products. We are also able to grow the network without being at the mercy of traditional telephone carries and their constantly fluctuating rate structures. The microwave system also allows us to deliver affordable broadband to our subscribers without the involvement of phone or cable companies, this enables us to install service with shorter turnaround times and troubleshoot any technical problems more quickly and effectively.
