Icon Fruit is a stone fruit export specialist, a joint venture between Cape Fresh Produce and the Unlimited Group. Cape Fresh Produce consists of a dynamic team of three experienced fruit producers and marketers based in the Cape. With Stefan du Plessis as the Founder and Director, Lohan Marais as the Managing Director. Since 1991, Unlimited Group has been growing, packing and exporting fresh produce. They focus on vertical integration between production, marketing, intellectual property and logistic investment. Hans Muylaert-Gelein is currently leading The Unlimited Group. Icon Fruit aims to produce and supply the highest quality stone fruit, bringing together traditional varieties with new designer cultivars of Cherry plums, flavour burst pluots, Flavor Fall, apricots, peaches, cherries and nectarines. Our farms in South Africa are geographically diverse, ensuring a consistent and dependable supply. The shareholders of Icon Fruit are at the forefront of variety research and development.
