iCog Labs is the first private AI and Robotics Research and Development Company in East Africa based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia focusing mainly on Artificial Intelligence R&D. Ever since its establishment, it has been working for and with international customers all over the world. It has clients in the USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, and Germany. Generally, it focuses on Artificial General Intelligence, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence enhanced Commercial Software Bioinformatics Research, Machine Learning based data analysis, and recently there has been some work in the area of prototype development for hardware products. iCog carries out its works in partnership with a number of international organizations including US AI firm Novamente LLC, US bioinformatics firm Biomind LLC, Dr. Gino Yu's lab in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, SingularityNet, and the OpenCog Foundation.
