In 2002, Yuri Prokopchik discovered a passion for waterproofing and coatings after realizing that he coud do it better than what hed experienced seeing on the jobsite. Thats all the youg father needed to realize that hed found his niche in the industry. Not only does Yuri have almost two decades in this field, but he also has been educated and completed training with many coating manufacturers including Carlisle, Epro, Liquid Rubber, Liquid Boot, Cetco, Global Polymers, Aquaguard, PermaDri, Sonnoguard, Masterseal, Pacific Polymers, Sikaflex, Polytuff, Westcoat, Elitecrete, Xypes and Kryton, just to name a few. Starting in 2004, Yuri worked as a technical representative for Cetco with their Perlastic product line as well as Capital United with their Aquaguard product line. He also provided technical support for a very succesful we site called Rubberizeit.com . Both personal and business adventures have taken him around the world. Ive always had amazing opportunities to travel says a grateful Prokopchik. Ive been able to learn from amazing people in this field as well being able to have had the opportunity to teach other succesful applicators on the specialty of Coating Applications in Panama, Russia, South Korea, South Africa, Canada, France as well as 28 states throughout the U.S. A passion which has continued long after Yuris first epiphany of his love for the industry back in 2002. Im not much for sitting around, Yuri mentions proudly. If Im not out working and managing our team, Im usually continuing my education on this field as well as collaborating with the top Waterproofing Consulting firms in the state of Washington. Yuri founded Innovative Coating Systems, Inc. in the Spring of 2006 and shortly after, iCoat-It was born. Its a great, fresh thinking company with a lot of experience, Yuri proudly claims.
