A Universidade de São Paulo (USP) é uma universidade pública, mantida pelo Estado de São Paulo e ligada à Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (SDECTI). Criada em 1927, a Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais é a maior instituição federal de ensino superior no estado de Minas Gerais. A UFMG oferece 75 cursos de graduação, 81 de especialização, 68 programas de mestrado, 58 de doutorado e 40 de residência médica.
