The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is a premier Business School which has earned a reputation for excellence in academic activities and industry interactions. It holds the 3rd position among management institutes as per the NIRF India Rankings 2023: Management. It is also recognized as the second most innovative educational institution under the CFIs (non-technical) category in the ARIIA rankings, the only IIM to feature in the ARIIA top rankings. It is also globally accredited by EQUIS (EFMD) and AMBA (UK). The Institute was set up by the Government of India, in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala, as the 5th Indian Institute of Management. It aims to emerge as an internationally reckoned management centre with the motto of 'Globalizing Indian Thought.' It conducts an array of academic activities involving research, teaching, training, consulting, and intellectual infrastructure development to help improve the management systems globally. It emphasizes the development of analytical skills while gracefully balancing global and cross-cultural issues to mold business leaders into assets for society and maintain the equilibrium between business and social concerns.
