Firebrand Games is an independent publisher and developer of video games and interactive entertainment with studios in Glasgow (Scotland) and Merritt Island (Florida). The company is best known for creating racing games but also has the football brand Kick off in development (exclusive rights for the brand) as well as a couple of combat racing games. We also do contract work for clients.

Glacier Gaming was founded on the 16th August 2004 by the web masters of three prominent Golden Sun fan sites: SPKuja (The 4 Lighthouses), GGLucas (Gaia Rock) and Odyssey (Magma Rock). The vision was simple enough, we wanted to provide game content for loads of different games, not just the Golden Sun series, which was massively popular back then. SPKuja's site, The 4 Lighthouses had started to cover content of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, so it felt like a natural next step. It took us a while to think up a name that we liked, initially, we were going to call the site *Inferno Gaming Network*, but we quickly decided against it, as abbreviated, it would be IGN, and obviously, we didn't want any complications. It wasn't much longer that we came up with *Glacier Gaming Network*, or GGN for short. GGLucas designed the logo, which stayed with us for 8 years:We decided to use the host that The 4 Lighthouses was using, a small site called Ninhost, that primarily offered free hosting for gaming related sites, it was from here that we started to grow and build a user base. Due to some unknown reason, Ninhost went down, taking Glacier Gaming with it, so we moved to our current host, Dreamhost, and have been there ever since. For a time the forums flourished and Glacier Gaming steadily grew, but due to an unfortunate forum crash, we lost every thing, and shortly after GGLucas left the site. But not to be discouraged, Glacier Gaming returned, utilising a new CMS and forum software, this time focusing on gaming news and reviews. In mid 2008 we set up an off shoot of Glacier Gaming, the Us and Them web comics. The comics were a success, and opened up other sections like "Zombie Survival Tips" and other parody comics. All had positive feedback but after its 28th comic was ended. Over time the other comics followed suite, we just didn't have enough time to commit them. EdgyNinja decided to stay and Join the team offering up any crazy idea, usually following through with them. In 2011, we introduced the TAid Clan, a cocollaborationdea formed by EdgyNinja and SPKuja. This was a means to show every thing we as a team got up to while playing video games, some thing that was not as formal as the main Glacier Gaming site (not that we are in any way formal!) During this time, Evil_One275 of the forums became a fully fledged admin of the site, assisting running and posting news. The TAid Clan became an integral part of the GGN. The TAid Clan page was added to follow the clan in the form of videos and rants hosted by our own EdgyNinja.
