IBPC Qatar Information

The Indian Business & Professional Council, IBPC Doha, Qatar is a professional organization of Indian expatriates formally launched on the 16th February 1999 under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Doha with Ambassador of India to Qatar as its Patron. IBPC is the first apex body under the Embassy of India to be registered as a business council under Qatar Financial Center in February 2017 and in its new structure known as the Indian Business and Professional Council LLC(G). The Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC) aims to provide a forum for the promotion of trade and commerce and manufacturing & trading joint ventures between Indian and Qatar in addition to promoting investment in either country on a bilateral basis. The IBPC acts as an informal interface in introducing Indian Companies to the vast opportunities that exist in the industrial scenario in Qatar and aids them in projecting their expertise and strengths in various disciplines for prospective alliances with business & trade organizations operating in Qatar. It also aims to provide a reciprocal interface for business and trade organizations established in Qatar to explore business opportunities in India. Regular features of IBPC are: – Regular participation in events conducted by Qatar’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other local government bodies. – Business road shows conducted by the state governments of India. – Partnering with other professional bodies for conducting Indian business and professional events. – Providing feedback and support through phone and mails to Indian business and professional bodies for any information or logistic support required in Qatar. – Hosting the FICCI business delegation to Qatar on an annual basis. – Hosting the CII business delegation to Qatar on an annual basis
