Founded in 2004, Top Builders Group (TBG) began its journey with a unique opportunity given by a casino operator, who selected TBG as their construction partner for a series of hotel developments in the Cotai area. Since its inception, TBG has played a crucial role in these kinds of developments, handling various types of construction, that range from land reclamation, foundations and basement works, to superstructure erection, and interior fitouts. Despite a brief hiatus in 2008/2009 due to the global financial crisis, TBG has consistently contributed to the shaping of Macau's landscape. For instance, TBG recently completed the façade transformation of Sands Cotai Central into The Londoner, featuring iconic landmarks like the Palace of Westminster (British Parliament) and Big Ben. Along with the Crystal Palace Lobby, they have become the latest premier tourist attractions in Macau. Currently, TBG's operations are categorized into two primary business streams: • Construction of complex hotel developments, encompassing both new construction and addition and alteration (A&A) works. • Construction of public government projects, including but not limited to social housing, headquarters for government departments, and infrastructure projects such as Light Rail Transit (LRT), roads, and bridges. In alignment with Macau's evolution into a global entertainment hub, TBG is now strategically expanding its services to focus on the following areas: • Arenas and theatres, covering both new construction, renovations, and technological upgrades. • Special projects for events and revitalization of historical districts. • Green building construction and retrofitting of aging buildings with focus on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
