Ian Nurden Ltd Building and Roofing Contractors are builders based in Startley Chippenham Wiltshire that have been delivering quality building work and roofing services since 1988. The Construction and building business has grown over the years and the company still serves many existing and new customers throughout the Wiltshire area. The building and construction business was started by Ian's father shortly after the war, Ian served his apprenticeship at his fathers over five years understanding all the aspects of building, having spent many weeks with different builders and tradesmen, learning about everything from carpentry to roofing, plastering to wiring and plumbing. At that time Ian worked an average of five pubs a year for Courage Brewery, based in Newbury and spent a lot of time away from home roofing their properties for them and would at that time have anything up to 18 months work booked in advance. As an experienced builder Ian stated his own company in February 1988 and has grown over the years securing large contracts and a reputation for quality through workmanship. In 2000 a sister company was formed Autumn Developments to build homes that presented quality yet practical living space. As experienced builders the company has been appointed to built many new houses under contract for different clients, all carrying the NHBC warranty, which the company registered with in 1992. Over the years Ian's experienced builders have renovated and worked on 7 churches throughout the Wiltshire area as well as 3 chapels in and around Malmesbury, Many of these listed buildings have been repaired and re-roofed. The company specialises in the renovation of barns converting them into new living spaces and homes for clients. As approved builders the company has gained recognition and approved status with many local authorities. The company has always been driven to maintain the personal touch on all their projects regardless of the size of project.
