IADC’s mission is to improve industry health, safety and environmental practices, advance drilling and completion technology and champion responsible standards, practices, legislation and regulations that provide for safe, efficient and environmentally sound drilling operations worldwide. Founded in 1940, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) has exclusively represented the worldwide oil and gas drilling industry. The association’s primary areas of focus include, advocating for sensible regulation, giving voice to our industry, Improving safety and environmental protection. IADC North Sea Chapter membership is open to any company involved in oil and gas exploration, drilling or production, well servicing, oilfield manufacturing or other rig-site services. The North Sea Chapter is a not for profit organisation and raises funds for approved charities locally in Aberdeen.
