Our mission is to resource and partner with people affected by war and conflict, to amplify their voices and create opportunities for them to thrive. For nearly two decades, iACT has been demonstrating an alternative model of humanitarian action, one grounded in listening, trust, relationships, and local leadership. We facilitate a co-creation process, technical partnership, and flexible financial support, enabling communities themselves to lead solutions and build sustainable pathways that reduce dependency on us as well as the humanitarian aid system as a whole. Children growing up amidst war and displacement face profound barriers to education, safety, and healthy development, while their families are often excluded from meaningful economic and leadership opportunities. iACT exists to change this. We work to ensure displaced children and youth can access early childhood education, sports, and support for their overall development, while parents, caregivers, and other adults gain employment, leadership opportunities, and professional skills.
