In doing so, i3D Technologies strives to become the leader in leveraging clean water data to create greater intelligence and better decision making for water resource management, operations, planning, and design. i3D Technologies is a modeling and analytics software company specializing in time series data analysis for water resource applications. To date, i3D's growth has been driven within sewer system flow applications. Recently, the company began work on H2OMetrics™ - its second generation technology platform that expands on the success with the current sewer modeling tools to include a broader set of water resource applications. H2OMetrics™ is provided through a secure web portal as a subscription service that allows users to backup and archive their data locally or on i3D servers. This delivery model allows for flexible and remote access to the tools, facilitates ease of collaboration across teams, implements licensing on demand of only the components needed, and lowers total cost of ownership by removing on-site deployments, maintenance, and hardware. Additionally, H2OMetrics™ is continually evolving - providing customers with the latest capability through seamless updates and no additional fees. Since the company was founded in 2006 i3D's technology has been used on hundreds of sewer metering zones within dozens of municipalities throughout the Midwest. In July 2010, i3D Technologies received funding to further expand its technology offering and build a second generation of modeling and analysis tools for a national audience.
