I3D Europe is a Belgian non-profit organisation active in the field of immersive and interactive technologies, with a strong focus on XR, immersive media, 3D, and emerging formats. Founded in 2010, the association created Stereopsia, one of the first international events dedicated to immersive storytelling and XR, which has since become a recognised reference in the sector. In January 2025, I3D Europe entered into a joint venture with AWE to launch UnitedXR Europe, now recognised as the leading XR event in Europe, bringing together creators, industry leaders, researchers, and institutions from across the continent and beyond. Beyond its own initiatives, I3D Europe also operates as a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) for third parties, primarily in the fields of scientific conferences, professional events, and fairs. The organisation provides end-to-end event management services, combining strategic vision with operational expertise. I3D Europe further carries out consulting and advisory activities related to XR and immersive technologies, supporting public institutions, cultural organisations, and private stakeholders in areas such as strategy, ecosystem development, innovation, and knowledge transfer. The association is managed by Alexandra Gérard, Managing Director, and works closely with European and international partners to foster collaboration, professionalisation, and sustainable growth within the immersive technology ecosystem.
