I Was Broke. Now I'm Not. was founded in September 2006 by Joseph Sangl who had a dream to teach people practical ways to win with their money. Joe had an initial goal of teaching 100,000 people with the first five years, this milestone has been accomplished ahead of schedule. With more than 100 speaking events per year, the IWBNIN team now serves more than 50,000 people each year! I Was Broke. Now I'm Not. is an organization that is passionate about helping people accomplish far more than they ever thought possible with their personal finances. We believe that when people are financially free they are more likely to do exactly what they have been put on earth to do - regardless of the income potential.
