Hyperloop KGP is a research group present at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. The group was started by a group of senior undergraduate students in 2019 and is currently registered under the MN Faruqui Innovation Center at IIT Kharagpur. The group comprises a multidisciplinary team of undergraduate students, who like to explore the practical side of Engineering Research. We aim to perform research, design, manufacturing, and testing of an indigenously developed prototype of a Hyperloop Pod and represent IIT Kharagpur at the annual inter-university Hyperloop Pod Competition, which is conducted by SpaceX in the USA. Besides, we also aim to develop patents for our designs and publish research papers/articles in the automotive journals.
