A new technological process known as Building Information Modelling, or short for the term “BIM” has recently emerge within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Since its inception, there have been a number of countries around the world that acknowledged its advantages and benefits. The acknowledgement then turned into recognition and it has now become a mandate in some countries. Here in Hyperion Projects, we recognise that BIM is changing the process of a project, from planning, to budgeting, and to delivery. It does have positive effects on all the aspects of construction, from designing stages, construction stages, to facility and asset management. It also has a proven track record of improving efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle.
