U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) mission is to protect human health and the environment.
EPA works to ensure that:
- Americans have clean air, land and water;
- National efforts to reduce environmental risks are based on the best available scientific information;
- Federal laws protecting human health and the environment are administered and enforced fairly, effectively and as Congress intended;
- Environmental stewardship is integral to U.S. policies concerning natural resources, human health, economic growth, energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, and international trade, and these factors are similarly considered in establishing environmental policy;
- All parts of society--communities, individuals, businesses, and state, local and tribal governments--have access to accurate information sufficient to effectively participate in managing human health and environmental risks;
- Contaminated lands and toxic sites are cleaned up by potentially responsible parties and revitalized; and
- Chemicals in the marketplace are reviewed for safety.
The agency was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia with ten additional regional headquarters offices (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, San Francisco, and Seattle) as well as more than a dozen laboratories, and other regional and programmatic offices.

BioAir Solutions, LLC is the leading provider worldwide of biological odor and air emission control solutions for municipalities and industry. BioAir designs the highest-efficiency technology available anywhere for odor and air emissions control. Far more than an equipment supplier, BioAir is a process design company with a detailed understanding of the biology within our systems.
BioAir specializes in the design and supply of high-rate biotrickling filters, utilizing our our patented EcoBase structured, synthetic media, which continues to set new treatment standards around the world. With EcoBase at its core, BioAir's EcoFilter flagship odor treatment systems remove organic and inorganic odors, minimizing operating costs by eliminating the need for hazardous, expensive chemicals. BioAir's revolutionary biotrickling filters are so efficient that we can treat the same airflow as yesterday's odor control units in vessels 1/3 of the size.
BioAir focuses on process design, with a team of experienced process engineers and scientists on staff. Thanks to this core competency, BioAir is able to offer Total Odor Control services for industrial and municipal facilities. BioAir’s process team will travel to a customer's facility to analyze and assess all odor treatment needs system-wide, allowing us to design the most efficient, cost-effective treatment system possible for that specific application. By allowing us to identify the true source of the problem, we can ensure we are treating the cause, and not just a symptom.
We stand by our track record. BioAir has over 200 system installations around the world, with 100 percent performance success. We're proud to be the world's leading odor and air emissions control provider, and we look forward to finding out what we can do for you.
