Hydroproject Information

The main direction of the Institute activities is the complete designing of multi-purpose hydropower and water resources developments, designing the industrial and civil structures, including those incorporated in nuclear power projects. Alongside with Russia the Institute works in many countries of the world. The Institute activities embrace a wide spectrum of aspects, including: - elaboration of multipurpose water resources development schemes; - site investigations for hydropower developments; - complete design studies for hydropower and water management projects at all design stages; - model studies for determining the hydraulic, strength and other parameters of hydraulic structures; - supervising the construction and rehabilitation of hydraulic structures; - monitoring, technical examination of the existing hydraulic structures. The character and results of our long-term activity in Russia and abroad are presented in the documents describing our large hydropower and water management projects.
