Operational from 2004 to 2014…the legacy of EnergyWise Systems Inc lives on with the Wilkens family that owned and operated it.
While in business, EnergyWise valued simplicity in design, lightweight work processes, low maintenance, quality design/install, timeliness, and integrity with all stakeholders.
EnergyWise was a family owned and operated business in north Oklahoma City. A previous family introduced Solatube daylighting systems and SolarStar attic fans to Oklahoma, and had ownership from 1993 until 2004. In 2004, the Wilkens family bought the business. EnergyWise continued the legacy of innovative and durable products with smart LED systems, residential and commercial photovoltaics, and solar thermal systems.
Based on requests from contractors and customers, as well as their roof and attic experience, EnergyWise began installing solar pool heating systems in 2005. In 2006, solar hot water was added to the list, and in 2008 they began offering solar electric systems.
Their commitment to the people of Oklahoma was to be a company that was above reproach. EnergyWise sought to provide quality installations from a family of trained and certified installers you could trust.
As of 2014, the company was sold. The senior Wilkens couple retired, with the exception of their son Matthew, who continued his solar career in California and Texas. He can be reached at matthewwilkens@protonmail.com for reference.
