Hydrasurvey Information

Hydrasurvey provides independent sludge and sediment measurement for engineered bodies of water across Canada and the United States. We help municipalities, engineering consultants, contractors, industrial operators, and infrastructure managers understand what is happening below the surface before making dredging, maintenance, budgeting, tendering, or long-term asset management decisions. Using survey-grade field methods, sonar-supported mapping, RTK GNSS positioning, sludge sampling, liner and bottom profiling, and detailed data analysis, we measure sludge and sediment accumulation, map where it is concentrated, calculate volumes and dry tonnes, and help determine how much usable hydraulic capacity remains. Our work turns underwater conditions into clear, practical information. Hydrasurvey deliverables can include sludge thickness and depth maps, bathymetric profiles, liner and bottom elevations, 3D visualizations, volume calculations, dry tonne estimates, hydraulic capacity data, sampling results, and technical reporting.
