Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program Information

Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program (HDAP) is a progressive, science based outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment program. HDAP is the community based substance abuse treatment agency of choice for the greater Hunterdon County area. Through financial support from state, county, local and private funding sources we provide treatment to a broad range of clients. Our clients experience an improvement in the quality of their lives as a result of the treatment, intervention, and prevention programs that we provide. HDAP administrative, treatment and prevention staff are highly professional and continually receive trainings regarding the latest developments and treatment methods within the addictions field. HDAP staff utilize clinically proven, science based treatment and prevention programming and practice within the highest ethical standards. We tailor these proven methods to the unique needs of each individual and family we treat. HDAP is licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Addiction Services (for both OP and IOP levels of care), and we are in-network with most major insurance companies (including Aetna, Amerihealth, Cigna, Concern Plus, Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Magellan, Medicaid, Oxford, Quantum Health Solutions, United Behavioral Healthcare, and Value Options.
