Hunter Mill Animal Hospitals priority is the safety of our team and clients. In order to continue to offer care for our patients, we have put in place guidelines to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19, in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Please respect the following requests for the safety of all involved. When you arrive for your appointment, please call our office to alert our team you have arrived. We ask that you remain in your car until we confirm we are ready to see your pet. There will be NO CLIENT ADMITTANCE to the HMAH lobby. All pet transfers will occur in our fenced-in area, at the rear of the building. Our staff will direct you to the gated entrance. To reduce exposure, we ask that only ONE owner bring their pet for transfer. Once inside the fenced area, DO NOT let pet off-leash or run loose in HMAH fenced area. We ask that you PLEASE WEAR A PROTECTIVE MASK, REMAIN IN OWNER DESIGNATED AREA, while MAINTAINING AS MUCH DISTANCE AS POSSIBLE from our Doctors & Medical Team. SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING IS 6 FEET or more. Our staff will coordinate a leash exchange, pet transfer to the hospital and discuss the reason for your visit. Afterward, please return your vehicle, and we will notify you upon completion of the exam. If you need to pick up food or medication for your pet, please call our office prior to pick up to confirm your prescription is ready for pickup and to process payment over the phone. Once you have arrived at our hospital, please call us to alert us that you have arrived. We will place your pets food or medication in outside our door in a designated area for owner pickup. To protect the safety of our team and our clients, we request all clients exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 to please remain at home. We will try our best to accommodate all self-quarantined clients via phone and/or internet. We appreciate your cooperation, compliance, and patience, while these guidelines are in place.
