Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra Information

We are thrilled to announce that beginning in the fall of 2015 the Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra, Chorale, and Chamber Musicians will be in residency at Mercy High School in Baltimore, MD. We will be performing in The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium at Mercy High School, which has world-class amenities and seats 660 patrons. This partnership will provide the HVSOC with a home and will allow us to further our goals of community outreach. We will be able to create opportunities for students to participate in our orchestra and chorale and take master classes from our musicians. The Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit 501c3 organization that was founded in 2013 with the vision of creating a professional level, non-profit community orchestra & chorale in north central Maryland. The mission of the organization is to promote music education to children and youth, to provide a musical outlet for members of the community and to perform the finest orchestral and choral works. The orchestra & chorale present a full season of concerts each year beginning in September and ending in June. Since its inception in January of 2013, the Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra & Chorale has grown into a thriving non-profit organization with over 100 combined members from Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. As with any non-profit, fundraising becomes a vital part of building a stable foundation for the organization ensuring that it will be in existence for many years to come. This investment will serve the orchestra for the next 15-20 years and is a vital part of orchestral music.
