The LA Human Rights Initiative is a student-run, faculty-supervised organization at UCLA. LAHRI runs an Asylum Clinic that provides pro bono forensic evaluations to asylum seekers and other immigrants and creates opportunities for experiential learning and professional development for medical students and residents. LAHRI works in partnership with Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) by matching asylum cases with clinic-affiliated clinicians.
