It is not just a human rights issue; it is a tremendous waste of the world’s human potential. By denying women equal rights, we deny half the population a chance to live life at its fullest. Political, economic and social equality for women will benefit all the world’s citizens. Together we can eradicate prejudice and work for equal rights and respect for all. This also promotes peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. PROBLEM: The key problem that we would like to solve is that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are not known to the public and citizens are not motivated to act upon to solve these problems. If timely action is not taken, we will not be able to achieve the goal to address these problems by 2030. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? Kind Cause is focusing on solving this key problems by: Raising awareness of the sustainable development goals and starting a discussion as how to achieve them. Involving the knowledge workers to brain-storm on ideas as how to tackle these problems. Work with other nonprofits and help them become more efficient by making use of technology. Why? This will help them reduce their operational costs to ultimately help them to do more for our community. Help fund-raise for the nonprofits who are working to achieve the sustainable development goals.
