Our mission is very simple. We intend to revolutionize the practice of management! At the center of our work is the understanding that we are no longer living in the industrial era. We have entered into a new historical era that we have termed the "Coordination Era." In this new world the value generators are not industrial era factory workers but coordination workers. These are people who generate value by their capacity to effectively coordinate with others to produce customer satisfaction. To put it simply, they do not respond well to industrial era thinking and practices. Over the years there have been incremental improvements to the practice of management but the world is not moving incrementally any more and thus the need for a management revolution - welcome to the cause! Central to our work is the belief that the world does not exist as a permanent fixed reality. We human beings are not merely passive observers. We are intentional players, inventors, designers, and creators of our world. And to accomplish anything, we depend on everyday coordination with others. This is where HP2 makes its mark.
