The RSPCA is an independent, community-based charity providing animal care and protection services across the country. The RSPCA federation works collaboratively to make animals’ lives better. The RSPCA’s member Societies in each state and territory run animal rehoming shelters, investigate and prosecute animal cruelty complaints, educate the community on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, and advocate for changes in policy and practice that improve the welfare of animals. RSPCA Australia, as the federation’s national body, is a leading source of animal welfare science, and works with governments and industries to progress animal welfare across a range of issues. In addition, RSPCA Australia runs the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme, which works with farmers and brands to improve the lives of millions of farm animals.

The Brain Cancer Group is a charitable organisation that aims to improve the management of brain cancer and non-malignant tumours through targeted research, education and ongoing support for patients and their families, from Care2Cure We offer a unique translational research ‘bench to bedside’ approach that integrates patient care with treatment. We work with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to improve decision making and treatment processes for each individual patient, from Care2Cure. Our long term goal for research is to identify a genetic molecular description that will improve treatments and increase survival times of patients with primary brain cancer.

The Golden Octopus Foundation | Supporting Families Touched by Childhood Cancer The Golden Octopus Foundation is a childhood cancer charity founded by Keely Johnson on the 22nd April, 2015. The Golden Octopus Foundation's purpose is to provide support for families, raise awareness and provide much needed funds towards research and accessing trials.
