Huff's Drug Store and Compounding Pharmacy's mission is to provide the highest quality of service and medicine possible to patients and healthcare providers. We have four pharmacists on staff with a combined 50+ years experience. Steven Purvis, RPh, has served as the owner and pharmacist in charge since 1999. Doug Hall, RPh, has served Gilmer County for over 30 years, owning his own store for several years. Dr. Kristen Turner and Danny Postell, PharmD have joined recently to expand our pharmacy staff to better serve our patients. Unlike chain pharmacies, the owner (Steven Purvis, RPh) of the pharmacy works directly with patients. Also unlike the chain pharmacies the entire pharmacy is dedicated to providing you with immediate service of custom prescriptions and aids to improving daily living. We offer free blood pressure checks to our patients upon request and carry a large line of diabetic supplies. We have a registered pharmacist on staff at all times to assist you with medication compounding and who can advise you about the use of our medical products.
