HSS Systems was born on February 14, 2005 after the closure of XiTech Corporation. Members of the software group felt the need to support the software customer base and the rights to the Human Services Software was purchased. The majority of members in the software group had been working with the software since the 1980's so there is plenty of experience and expertise at HSS Systems. The software was designed in 1986 when we were contacted by a local MH/MR clinic to find a software package they could use. After searching and finding nothing that would meet the requirements of Pennsylvania's liability determination as well as the county and state reporting, we proposed a money back solution to them. We would write software for them based on their organizations needs and work flow. Since then, we have developed and updated the system based on each organizations needs and required billing and reporting requirements. Our customer base has extended from Pennsylvania to Ohio and Illinois.
