HRD Consulting is a financial services company focused on college financial planning. Our mission is to make sure every parent in New York City and Long Island can help their children get the college education they deserve while allowing them to save for their own retirement. We focus on helping families position their assets to qualify for the most financial aid and the least amount of taxes and other penalties on accumulated assets, and then on getting the most financial aid possible in the form of scholarships and grants. We work with each family’s individual needs to educate parents and students on the best methods of saving for, and saving the most on, college education costs – without giving up your retirement investments. For young children, we focus on the best methods of saving, and on helping to guide the student in how to best prepare their college application forms in order to put their best food forward, with the goal of getting them into the best schools possible. For older children, we help re-position parents’ assets in order to qualify for the most financial aid, as well as making the application as attractive as possible to those schools which provide the best financial aid packages. Through our affiliation with 123College.com, Inc., the leader in short-term college planning we assist with board exam test preparation, choosing a college or university, financial aid negotiations, FAFSA/CSS Profile filing, and maximizing your financial aid eligibility.
