About HPP Solutions and Héðinn HPP Solutions designs and builds HPP Protein Plants. HPP Solutions is a subdivision within Héðinn hf., a prestigious Icelandic family company with over 100 years of heritage. Héðinn hf. began operating with conventional fishmeal factories in the year of 1936. For over a decade, we invested dramatically in Research and Development, which has led to the creation of the HPP Protein Plant. The development involved redesigning the traditional fishmeal process to simplify, increase energy use efficiency, and increase additional yield. Our vision is to create value out of the waste that will help our clients achieve their goal of reducing their carbon footprint and increasing the value of each processed kilo. HPP Protein Plant is paving a new path in the recovery of protein and oil in a more sustainable way than ever before while utilizing 100% of the raw material. Our mission is to make the planet greener every day, contribute to the fight for the environment, and assist in developing a high-quality protein that is in great demand across the world.
