Hoyalytics Information

Established in 2017, Hoyalytics is Georgetown University's largest consulting organization. With 90 Applied Members and 400 General Members, we seek to make data analytics accessible to all students. Each semester, Hoyalytics Applied Members work with roughly 10 clients, ranging from large public organizations to first-division sports teams to small businesses local to Washington, DC. By using advanced technical skills, we are able to draw unique insights from data, enabling our clients to grow and succeed. Hoyalytics is completely student-run, with members from all 5 of Georgetown’s undergraduate colleges. Our work is pro bono, and our Applied Members are recruited through a highly competitive process (acceptance rate as low as 5%). They join Hoyalytics purely due to their drive to engage in meaningful projects outside of the classroom. Apart from our client work, our General Member Analyst Training program attracts over 400 analysts each year, teaching them the fundamentals of consulting, Python, Tableau, SQL, and R.
