Macleans College is relatively new, but since its founding in 1980 it has established a deserved reputation for high performance in the core business area of academic success. This is complemented by a highly prized value system based on the unique whanau house concept, and the active support of an extensive programme of co-curricular activities. We constantly take pride in the excellent calibre of our staff, and the professionalism and support of our Board of Trustees. A large, multicultural co-educational state school for Years 9 to 13 (age 13 to 18 years) with approximately 2000 students and 200 staff. Located in Howick, an attractive suburb in the East of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. Opened in 2004, we have a modern learning environment which promotes 21st-century competencies.
