Homelessness in the United States is far from being solved. Housing First models have demonstrated significant success, but the number of individuals experiencing homelessness has remained stagnant for 2 reasons: not enough resources are deployed to these solutions, and significant barriers to effective implementation exist. HousingFirst Lab solves these challenges by engaging private sector expertise in collaboration with homeless and housing nonprofits to solve the organizational challenges that limit their impact. We believe that by bringing people with different experiences together, we can improve outcomes and generate additional support for ending homelessness.
