Housing Opportunities Project for Excellence (HOPE), Inc. is a non-profit that fights discrimination in housing in Florida's Miami-Dade and Broward Counties (and the only such non-profit in the counties). We tell people about their rights and responsibilities in trainings and workshops, take complaints and inquiries, provide referrals to services, and conduct investigations that lead to lawsuits. Since its 1988 inception, our agency has been instrumental in the recovery of over $12 million in out-of-court settlements for victims of housing discrimination.
