Hough Development was founded in 2015 by Dereck Hough out of a passion for reviving dilapidated homes in Baltimore City. Hough Development works with a dedicated team to acquire, design, develop and construct homes in the greater Baltimore area. Our team specializes in full gut residential renovations in transforming neighborhoods, turning decrepit masonry walls into modern, safe, and remarkable living spaces. In qualified historic districts, Hough Development builds to unique historic preservation guidelines in order to preserve the historical integrity of Baltimore's beautiful architectural scene, while capturing thousands in tax offerings for our home buyers. We work closely with New York-based interior design firm Alexia Valentina to ensure we are using the most efficient layouts, durable, high quality materials and beautiful details that become unique to each home.
