With over 80 years in the business we are leaders in the educational travel sector and as such are looking for deputy managers to help lead and inspire their teams to deliver the highest level of service to our guests. Mainly catering for schools groups, but with adult guests and families also featuring in our busy seasonal programme; your job will be constantly varied and no two days will be the same! We need experienced industry professionals who have gained sound knowledge of all hotel operations; and would feel confident stepping up to the plate in the Hotel manager's absence. You will be proactive and looking to maximise business opportunities wherever possible. You will be extremely passionate about hospitality and the ski industry, be confident presenting to different groups of people and have excellent communication and customer service skills and proven experience of managing and motivating a team. You will take on various different responsibilities which will include; managing the heads of department within the hotel ensuring clear communication across the teams, attending or hosting weekly meetings, aiding staff development and training, assisting in the preparation of rotas and time-sheets, dealing with customer feedback. In addition, you will check all goods are ordered through our nominated suppliers, ensure company skis are serviced to a high standard, manage bar and restaurant sales, maximise profit, maintain a high level of competitor awareness and ensure your teams remain motivated and enthusiastic throughout the season.
