Hotel Mrak Information

Boutique hotel. Big story. Tucked away in the heart of Ljubljana’s historic centre, Hotel Mrak is a four-star boutique hotel with a character all its own. Our story is woven into the cultural and artistic heritage of Ljubljana. Once home to Slovenian writer and playwright Ivan Mrak and artist Karla Bulovec Mrak, the building carries a creative spirit that continues to inspire the hotel today. We believe that memorable hospitality is found in the details: a warm welcome, thoughtfully designed rooms, a leisurely breakfast, and the quiet charm of our garden beneath the old vine. Here, comfort feels personal, and luxury is never about excess. Beyond welcoming travellers, Hotel Mrak offers an inviting setting for smaller business meetings, corporate breakfasts, leasure brunch, intimate gatherings and private events. Our meeting space, Dvorana Mrak, brings people together in an atmosphere that feels more personal than a traditional conference venue. Whether you're discovering Ljubljana, meeting with colleagues or simply taking a moment away from the everyday, Hotel Mrak invites you to experience the city at your own pace. Hotel Mrak.
