Hotel Divisamar Information

The Hotel Divisamar is involved in the Ecological Blue Flag Program in the Manuel Antonio beach, which is near the hotel less than 1.5 km away, the voluntary program participation CST from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute which the hotel have several years participate voluntarily. We have a beach cleanup program of Espadilla every week, a walk to collect remains of glass, plastic, cans, paper on shore. We invite our guests and friends to be part of the group making weekly visits to the public beach to collect trash and leave it in natural conditions to restore the natural order. Open awareness in their collaborators from customers about the importance of good environmental practices is one of the purposes. Practices within the Hotel are the saving in water consumption, electricity, wastewater reuse for irrigation of landscaping and classify solid waste produced by the Hotel. Also contributing to the recovery program for people with addictions to alcohol and drugs from Casa de Amor and Quepos Humanitarian Efforts, through the inclusion of persons to work program, starting with the Hotel under supervision.
