Hot Disk AB provides world-leading instruments for testing Thermal Conductivity, Thermal Diffusivity, Thermal Effusivity, and Specific Heat Capacity of a vast range of materials and components. Our famed instruments are today a global benchmark, due to their versatility, unmatched range, accuracy, and precision. Hot Disk® instruments can handle samples of any type - isotropic and anisotropic bulks, composites, fiber materials, laminates, stacks, sheets, foils, textiles, fabrics, films, coatings, pellets, grains, granules, powders, pastes, creams, gels, liquids, foams, insulators, cushioning, etc., etc. Hot Disk® instruments are used in both materials research and quality control (QC). To date nearly 2000 instruments have been installed globally. Our customers have in turn published more than 5000 journal papers presenting their measurement data. Our customers test lithium batteries, graphene-based nanocomposites (GNCs), thermal interface materials (TIMs), fibre-reinforced polymers (FRPs), smart textiles, nanofluids, aerogels, 3D-printed materials, thermoelectrics, phase-change materials, metals, ceramics, building materials, gastronomic and alimentary products, geological samples, and much more.
