The HOST Program is a not-for-profit organization, registered as a charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada). 100% of all donations are distributed to deserving students who are selected by their school. Your donations are never used to pay administrative costs, which are paid by the volunteer Board of Directors. Donors receive a President's Report at least three times per year. Each President's Report contains a financial statement; the January and June reports contain excerpts from the letters from the recipients describing how the HOST Program has improved their lives.
