Host Guest Information

Founded in 2024, HostGuest was created after our founder experienced firsthand how difficult it can be for international and out-of-state students to find safe, welcoming housing in a new city. HostGuest is a housing platform that connects students with verified host families across the United States, offering a more affordable, flexible, and human alternative to traditional housing. For students, especially international and out-of-state students, HostGuest provides access to safe home environments where expectations are clear and support is available. For host families, we offer a structured way to open their homes to students, with thoughtful matching based on comfort, availability, and preferences. Our role is to facilitate the match, help set expectations on both sides, and remain a point of contact throughout the experience. We focus on safety, transparency, and mutual respect rather than volume or short-term transactions. Our mission is clear: to foster meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and a genuine sense of belonging for everyone involved. If you’re a student/ a host family and have questions or need support, you can always reach us at support@hostguest.net
