Hospice & Community Care, established in 1980 as Hospice of Lancaster County, provides the most comprehensive and extraordinary end-of-life care for everyone in our community regardless of their ability to pay. We offer hospice, palliative and supportive care as well as bereavement support to more than 400 individuals a day. The care our patients and families receive is unparalleled in the Susquehanna Valley, focusing on a team approach to meet them where they are in their journey. Accredited by the Joint Commission and a member of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization, we provide specialized training in caring for veterans, pediatric patients, individuals with dementia and offer continuous educational opportunities for staff. The Bob Fryer & Family Inpatient Center in Mt. Joy, PA is available to our patients who need an extra level of care with 24 beds in a home-like setting. With offices in Lancaster, York and Mt. Joy, we care for patients in Lancaster , York , Adams and parts of Dauphin, Lebanon and Chester counties.
