Hormoz Marine Shipping & Int’l Forwarding Co.(LTD) was established in 1990 (Tehran-Iran) as an international shipping company mainly focused on container specialization and additionally providing multi modal services which is also known as combined transport. Hormoz Marine has also an office in Bandar Abbas which is the main port in south of Iran. Moreover, in order to expand its viewpoint and to meet international standards, Hormoz Marine Co. has developed its shipping services, road services, air services, and so on. Consequently, it inaugurated a new company as its subset named Sea Trans Shipping Agency Co. In general, the fields of operations of group of companies are shipping services, freight forwarding, air transport, Road and Transit services, Rail Transport, Flexi Bag Service, ISO Tank Service, and Project Cargo. They provide services from southern ports of Iran to countries in Far East, Middle East, Africa, South and Central America, and vice versa.
