WHO WE ARE:
Hope Network is a non-profit organization operating across the state of Michigan. We have 240 locations and serve over 34,000 people with disabilities or disadvantages each and every year.
WHAT WE DO:
We help people overcome physical, mental or social barriers that impact how they live. The result is fulfillment through independence, progress, and community integration. Whether it’s…
…a dad recovering from a brain injury
…a child growing up with autism
…an ex-offender trying to re-enter society
…a teenager battling depression
We have countless stories of restoration to tell.
HOW WE DO IT:
For over 60 years, we’ve provided neuro rehabilitation, behavioral healthcare, developmental support services, autism services, community support, and more. We do this because we believe every person was created to live life to the fullest – no matter their age, no matter their background, no matter what’s holding them back.
WHY IT MATTERS:
60 million people in the U.S. suffer from disabilities or disadvantages that impact how they live. Over one million of these people live in Michigan. To put it into perspective, that’s more than the population of Detroit.
A majority have fallen through the cracks and aren’t receiving the care they deserve. That’s a problem – but we’re solving it by being advocates for these people.

No youth should ever be without a home — period. This urgent belief and over 50 years of experience have placed Covenant House at the forefront of the fight against youth homelessness. Founded in 1972, Covenant House is the largest primarily privately-funded agency in the North and Central America offering free 24/7 crisis care, housing, and supportive services for youth, young families, and survivors of human trafficking. Located in 34 cities across 5 countries (the United States, Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico) Covenant House provides shelter, food, medical and mental health care, crisis intervention, educational and vocational services, and an array of supportive services to youth facing homelessness regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. The Covenant House mission is centered and built on community, where youth, staff, volunteers, and partners love one another unconditionally, respect each other absolutely, and dedicate ourselves to a covenant of compassion and hope.
Based in Lancaster, PA, HOPE International (HOPE) is a Christian faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization investing in the dreams of families in the world's underserved communities as we proclaim and live the Gospel.
Why Christ-centered financial services?
We believe families in poverty have the God-given talents and skills to provide for their families. What they don’t have is a lump sum of money to invest in their potential—by paying school fees, saving for the future, or investing in businesses.
Two billion people around the world do not have access to financial services. 91 percent of adults in high-income countries have an account compared to just 28 percent in low-income countries.
We desire to see men and women around the world find their soul’s satisfaction in Christ and become dignified, hope-filled providers in their families and communities. In obedience to Christ’s command to love our neighbor and make disciples of all nations, HOPE International provides discipleship opportunities, biblically based training, a safe place to save, and loans.
We offer these services through two models:
1. Savings groups are groups of individuals who save their money together in partnership with the local church. As they build a secure sum of money, members often take out loans from their group to pay for household expenses or invest in businesses.
2. Microfinance institutions are banks designed to serve entrepreneurs in poverty by providing loans, a safe place to save, and other financial services to help men and women invest in their businesses and provide for their families.
We have a heart for underserved areas. In some cases, we start a HOPE-managed program; in others, we partner with an existing Christ-centered ministry. Together, the HOPE network consists of microfinance institutions and savings group programs working throughout Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
