Hope Beyond Bridges serves the homeless right where they are, under the bridges the homeless we meet; giving them a hearty meal, clothing, and hygiene kits. But we dont just feed their basic physical needs, we feed their spirit. Through shared prayers and conversation, we build trust, we build relationships, one meal and one prayer at a time. Defend The Weak And The Fatherless; Uphold The Cause Of The Poor And The Oppressed. Rescue The Weak And The Needy; Deliver Them From The Hand Of The Wicked. How Can You Help The Homeless? When you volunteer with Hope Beyond Bridges, you help us serve nearly 200 meals to the homeless each week. The more dedicated volunteers we have, the more people we can reach and serve. There are multiple volunteer opportunities available that enable us to reach more of Houstons homeless. Every Saturday our volunteer teams cook, deliver food, and hand out clothing, hygiene kits, bug spray, and other needed items. They offer a word of hope or a prayer to those they meet. Become one of our weekend warriors and help restore hope. Clean and dry clothing items make a big difference in the mental and physical health of the homeless. We depend on the items in our warehouse to fulfill the needs we collect each week. Organize a drive to help us clothe those in need. Our Ambassadors for Hope are the voice of Hope Beyond Bridges. They introduce the community to our mission and vision for bringing hope to the homeless. If you are passionate about helping the homeless consider becoming one of our Ambassadors. Hope Beyond Bridges has helped me to see that everyone has a story. This ministry is a clear example of Jesus, who came to us in the middle of our mess, loved us and restored us.
